Ukrainian Armed Forces on Putin in one word: an unusual initiative has started on social media.
According to inkorr.com: American blogger Jackson Hinkle called on social media to describe Russian leader Vladimir Putin in one word. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also joined this call.
Military personnel expressed their opinions in the comments, noting that the word 'target' best describes Putin.
Postponement of the Trump-Putin Meeting
The meeting between the Presidents of the USA and Russia has been postponed to a later date. Donald Trump explained that the appropriate moment for negotiations has not yet arrived.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also commented on why the idea of holding talks between Trump and Putin in Budapest was rejected. According to him, Ukraine is more interested in ending the war rather than the location of the meeting.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban confirmed that the summit in Budapest will still take place, but later.
During a meeting with the Hungarian Prime Minister, the US president noted that he would like to use Budapest for future negotiations with Putin.
Thus, Ukrainian military personnel see Putin as a 'target', and the Trump-Putin meeting has been postponed due to an inappropriate time for discussions. These events highlight the situation in which key players in international politics seek ways for dialogue but simultaneously face difficulties and the need to consider current circumstances.
