The Occupying Army Faced a Personnel Shortage for the First Time – Budanov.
Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov reported that problems with mobilization in Russia began 3 months ago. Despite significant financial incentives, the flow of volunteers is catastrophically decreasing, and almost 10% of the shortage has been recorded. Forbes writes about this.
«Mobilization in Russia is not so simple. Human resource problems in the Russian Federation started about three months ago. This moment is not well known. Previously, there were no problems with mobilization in Russia», – said Budanov.
He noted that at the beginning of the war, the enemy announced partial mobilization and tried to encourage people with significant amounts of money, but this was not enough to replenish the army. Many other individuals went to fight as volunteers or were transferred from conscription service to contract terms.
«Think about why the enemy constantly raises the level of one-Time financial payment for signing a contract? The amounts have already reached, depending on the region, 2 million Russian rubles. This is huge money for Russia. The answer is obvious – the flow of volunteers is catastrophically decreasing. And in recent months, the RF army faced a personnel shortage for the first time. Russia has a mobilization plan, and according to it, almost 10% of the shortage is recorded», – says the head of the GUR.
According to him, now the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is trying to correct the situation. The enemy understands – if the protracted war continues, then no later than the summer of 2025, Russia will face a dilemma: either stop all this or announce a repeated large-scale mobilization. The enemy will drag it out to the last because, in the opinion of the leadership of the Russian Federation, large-scale mobilization can seriously undermine the political situation.
Recall, the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin increased the one-time payment to Russians and foreigners if they sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to participate in the war against Ukraine.
