Russian Drone Strikes Target Residential Areas in Kharkiv, Casualties Reported.
Ongoing Assault on Kharkiv
According to TSN.ua: Russian forces are continuing their drone attacks on the city of Kharkiv, causing injuries and damaging buildings and vehicles. The assaults began in the morning when a Shahed drone struck the Slobidskyi district, hitting a restaurant and residential buildings. According to preliminary reports, there are casualties, and the exact number and condition of the victims are being clarified, said Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. So far, one injured person has been confirmed.
On the afternoon of March 25, the Russian military also targeted Kharkiv with Geran-2 drones. In the Kholodnohirskyi district, one drone landed in the courtyard of an apartment building, while in the Novobavarskyi district, another drone hit a private residential area, sparking a fire and damaging the gas network. In total, around 10 vehicles were damaged, and eight people were injured as a result of the strikes. Additionally, another enemy drone fell without detonating.
Local Authorities Urge Caution
The attacks on Kharkiv are ongoing, and local officials are calling on residents to remain vigilant and follow safety protocols.
