Successes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Lymansky Area

According to ТСН: The fighters of the Third Army Corps are conducting active joint assaults in the Lymansky area in cooperation with the GUR of the Ministry of Defense. Thanks to these efforts, an entire regiment of Russian troops has been completely destroyed, stabilizing the front line and allowing for a large number of prisoners to be taken.

This information was provided by the Third Army Corps. The Ukrainian Armed Forces were able to improve the tactical situation of their units in the region. During the joint actions, an enemy regiment was neutralized, and many attackers were taken prisoner.

The actions of the Ukrainian fighters complicate the maneuvers of the occupation troops and create favorable conditions for further decisions in the Lymansky area.

"Together with the GUR, we have achieved an operational-tactical result in the Lymansky area. This is a continuation of the tradition since the liberation of Moshchun and the breakthrough of helicopters to Mariupol - offering each other a brotherly shoulder. I am grateful for the exemplary cooperation," said the commander of the Third Army Corps, General Andriy Biletsky.

The commander of the special unit of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense "ARTAN," Viktor Torkotyuk, also emphasized the importance of the fighters and commanders who are able to find solutions even for the most difficult tasks.

It should be noted that the Russian command in the Lyman area is building up the main strike of the 20th Army and has a significant superiority in personnel, which on certain sections amounts to a ratio of 1 to 10. Lyman is the strategic "gate" to Slavyansk, but even if the occupying troops capture the city, they will face a significant natural obstacle - the Siiverskyi Donets River, which will make further advances into the Donbas significantly difficult.

These events underscore the resilience and professionalism of the Ukrainian military under difficult conditions. The situation in the Lymansky area remains tense, but the successes of the Ukrainian fighters give hope for further developments in a positive direction for Ukraine. The situation requires attention, as control over Lyman could determine the further actions of both Ukrainian and Russian troops in the region.
