Queues at the border with Poland have grown again: where the most cars and buses are

According to ТСН: After a slight decrease in passenger traffic at the border with Poland, queues are again on the rise. Checkpoints are operating in enhanced mode.

Enhanced Mode of Operation

To shorten waiting times, border guards have implemented a number of additional measures:

  • The number of teams for document checks and vehicle inspections has been increased.

  • Additional automated workstations have been connected.

  • There is constant coordination with Polish colleagues to expedite procedures.

Where the queues are

According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the largest queues of cars are observed in Volyn (checkpoint 'Ustilug'), and for buses in Lviv region (checkpoint 'Krakivets').

  • 'Ustilug': 60 cars, 4 buses.

  • 'Uhriniv': 40 cars.

  • 'Krakivets': 25 cars, 27 buses.

  • 'Rava-Ruska': 20 cars.

  • 'Hrushev': 20 cars.

  • 'Nyzhankovych': 20 cars.

Border guards recommend travelers take this information into account when planning their trips.

We remind you that after the damage to an important bridge in Odesa region, the conditions for crossing the border with Moldova and Romania were updated. The crossing through several checkpoints in Odesa region has been restored.

Maintaining increased attention to passenger flow, border guards are working to improve service at border crossings. Travelers should monitor the situation and consider the recommended time for border crossing to be able to plan their trips easily.
