According to TSN.ua: During the final ten days of March 2026, Ukraine has seen a sharp increase in the cost of greenhouse cucumbers, with prices jumping 10% in just one week. Currently, the average price for these cucumbers ranges from 135 to 175 hryvnias per kilogram. This represents a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. The main drivers behind this surge are unfavorable weather conditions and strong consumer demand.

Additionally, the market is facing a shortage of greenhouse tomatoes, with prices now ranging between 120 and 140 hryvnias per kilogram. This scarcity has pushed tomato prices 45% higher than in March of the previous year. These trends highlight a broader rise in vegetable costs, influenced by a combination of factors including weather patterns and market demand.
