Imported Strawberries and Forecasts
It is worth noting that the strawberries available in Ukrainian retail chains in March are imported. The main supplier countries are Greece, Turkey, and Spain. Strawberry prices in Ukraine remain a hot topic among consumers, given the significant price fluctuations across different supermarket chains. As summer approaches, demand for fresh berries is expected to rise, which could further impact prices. A reduction in strawberry costs during summer is likely tied to the harvest season, which will boost market supply and help stabilize prices.
