Massive RF Attacks on Energy: Schedules for Power Outages to Begin in Ukraine on December 9.

According to ТСН: Due to the massive attacks by Russia on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, restrictions on electricity consumption will be introduced in all regions starting December 9.

Schedules for Electricity Outages

According to the information, hourly outage schedules will be in effect from 00:00 to 23:59. The number of shifts will vary from two to four depending on the situation in the energy system.

Additionally, during this same period, capacity restrictions will be imposed for industrial consumers.

The energy company emphasized that the timing and volume of outages may change depending on the load on the network and the overall state of the energy system.

Citizens are urged to follow updates on the official websites of their regional energy suppliers. During the intervals when electricity is available according to the schedule, consumers are asked to use electricity sparingly.

Funding Issues for Protective Facilities

As a reminder, Alexander Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center (ERC), noted,

that currently there are insufficient funds for the construction of protective facilities for energy facilities, complicating preparations for protection against future missile and drone attacks.

Given the ongoing attack on energy infrastructure, it is extremely important to adapt to new realities. The introduction of restrictions on electricity consumption is intended to help preserve the country's energy system. At the same time, funding issues for protective facilities jeopardize the security of energy objects, making the situation even more tense. The economical use of electricity will be the key to stability in these conditions.
