Incident Circumstances

According to the Vinnytsia Regional Prosecutor's Office, the suspect, who was temporarily living with an acquaintance, stayed at home with her children aged 11 and 12. That day, the woman consumed alcohol in front of the children, and the older girl made a remark to her.

Consequences of the Act

In response, the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and struck the girl in the head. As a result, the child suffered a cut on her forehead and a concussion of the right eye.

Despite the injuries, the girl managed to call her mother, who called an ambulance and the police.

Arrest of the Suspect

The woman has been detained, and a petition is currently being prepared for her to be remanded in custody.

This incident once again highlights the seriousness of the issue of domestic violence and alcohol consumption.
