Ukrhydromet Center warns of ice and snowfall on Saturday: where it will be dangerous.

According to ТСН: On Saturday, moderate snowfall and ice are forecasted in Ukraine. Slight warming is expected in the east and south.

Weather forecast by regions

Moderate snowfall will be observed in Zakarpattia and the Carpathians. In the southern, central, and eastern regions, as well as in the Carpathians, wet snow and rain are possible, along with the accumulation of wet snow and ice. In the south, east, and Dnipropetrovsk region, winds may reach 15-20 m/s.

In the west, daytime temperatures will fluctuate from -3 to 2 degrees. In the eastern regions and Dnipropetrovsk, temperatures will range from 0 to 5 degrees above zero, while in the south - 3 to 8 degrees.

Situation in Kyiv

Cloudy weather without precipitation is expected in Kyiv and the Kyiv region; however, ice formation may occur on the roads.

The temperature in Kyiv region will fluctuate from -3 degrees to 2 degrees above zero. In Kyiv, around 0 degrees is expected during the day.

Forecast for January

Ukrhydromet Center meteorologists also reported that in January 2026, the average monthly temperature will be below normal. As for precipitation, their amount will not exceed the norm.
