Arrest in Transcarpathia: Man Attacks Family and Police While Intoxicated.
According to ТСН: In the village of Volovec, located in Transcarpathia, police detained a man for committing domestic violence and attacking law enforcement.
A 19-year-old boy reported that his father was arguing with his mother and was using physical violence against her. During the call, screams could be heard in the background," the message states.
The police quickly arrived at the scene. Initially, the perpetrator tried to avoid communication with the law enforcement officers, but subsequently began to behave aggressively.
The man attacked his wife, son, and law enforcement officers. To stop his actions, the police used physical force and detained him.
The wife and son of the detained did not require medical assistance. The 43-year-old man, who was intoxicated, was taken to the police station.
The actions of the detainee were classified under Part 2 Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - violence against law enforcement officers.
In addition, he was charged under Article 173-2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for domestic violence. According to Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, the man will be placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing.
This incident is yet another confirmation of the problem of domestic violence in Ukraine, which requires careful consideration by society and law enforcement agencies. The police assures that they will continue to actively work on preventing and investigating such cases, ensuring the safety of citizens.
