A man armed with a gun was detained in Kyiv: he threatened people with a pistol in a supermarket.

According to ТСН: In the Podil district of Kyiv, an incident occurred in a supermarket on Ivan Kavaleridze Street. A drunk man created panic by threatening people with a gun and then fled the scene.

According to the police, the man, while inebriated, pulled out a starter pistol and began to scare visitors and employees of the store. After the threats were made, he disappeared.

The law enforcement quickly identified the offender and found him on a neighboring street. He turned out to be a 46-year-old local resident. The police detained the man and seized the starter pistol.

He was charged with gross violation of public order, accompanied by particularly brazen conduct and the use of an object that was pre-prepared for causing harm. This crime is punishable by up to seven years in prison.

It is also worth noting that recently in Kyiv, a 24-year-old FSB agent was detained, who on January 4 blew up the Land Rover of a serviceman in Obolon. She manufactured explosives and set up a camera to stream the terrorist attack to the customer in real-time for a promised reward of $1500. As a result of the explosion, the serviceman and his companion were injured and suffered concussions.
