NATO Drones Detected in Its Airspace: What We Know.
According to inkorr.com: In Norway and the Netherlands, which are NATO members, drones have been spotted. Drones were observed at the Erland air base in Norway. Commander Mattis Hasborg reported that silhouettes and light signals indicating the presence of drones were recorded on the runway.
In the Netherlands, an object resembling a drone was also detected. Schiphol Airport was temporarily closed as pilots reported a possible sighting of a drone at an altitude of 150 meters. Researchers suggest that it might have been a weather balloon instead of a drone.
“Ukrainian military recorded reconnaissance drones entering our airspace, likely of Hungarian origin. It is likely that they were conducting reconnaissance on the industrial potential in Ukrainian border areas. I instructed to verify all available data and immediately report every recorded incident” – stated President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Concerns about the possible detection of drones in Norway and the Netherlands are growing, necessitating further investigation.
This situation highlights the relevance of security in airspace and raises questions about the activity of drones in the region. In the context of a tense international situation, such incidents can have serious implications for security in Europe, especially amid rising tensions between countries.
