Russians attacked Kyiv at night: one person died, a hospital was damaged.
According to ТСН: On the night of January 5, Russian troops once again attacked Kyiv.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, as a result of the strike in the Obolon district, a four-story building of a medical facility was damaged: the hit occurred on the level of the second floor, where an inpatient department was operating.
The fire that broke out due to the attack was extinguished by rescuers. During further inspection of the premises, a body was found.
25 people were evacuated from the building, and a woman was also injured, who received medical assistance at the scene.
All circumstances of the tragedy are currently being established.
As a reminder, earlier explosions were heard in Poltava.
This incident once again highlights the threat that the war poses to the civilian population. Attacks on medical facilities cause particular outrage, as these institutions should be beyond political struggle. Authorities and rescue services are working to clarify all the circumstances of the event and ensure the safety of citizens.
