Nova Poshta raised 330 million for air defense: how the funds will strengthen sky protection.

According to ТСН: The funds allocated to strengthen the protection of the Ukrainian sky were raised as part of the initiative 'Pack the sky - upgrade air defense'. For seven months of the project implementation, anyone interested could join the fundraising organized by Nova Poshta to support the defenders of the sky.

Project Results

'As today's reality shows, communication is extremely important for all areas of life. And the connection between air defense units saves the lives of each of us. We knew this from the start of the 'Pack the sky - upgrade air defense' project. The process of producing modern equipment for the military is complex, lengthy, and expensive. But we at Nova Poshta love complex tasks and know that nothing is impossible. Despite all obstacles, the goal we set together with 'Come Back Alive' has been achieved. I am confident that now the sky defenders have become stronger, and the enemy will not overcome them,' commented the project's results by Nova Poshta co-owner Vyacheslav Klymov.

Funding and Procurement

The company contributed 183.6 million UAH, while 118.2 million UAH were provided by Ukrainians through the project's account or bank. Another 26.6 million UAH were received from contributions by friends and partners, including businesses and well-known bloggers. Other amounts came from the sale of Nova Poshta merchandise and the delivery of parcels in limited edition packaging.

Modern Equipment for Defense

In total, over 330 million UAH collected by Nova Poshta, its clients, and partners will allow the 'Center' Air Command to be equipped with modern communication equipment and mobile command posts. Among the procurements are: backpacks for mobile fire groups, portable command posts (transformers weighing 60 kg), hardware systems for communication, as well as trucks for troop management during movement. All this is complemented by universal spaces for the work and rest of defenders.

Effectiveness of New Equipment

'This project increases the effectiveness of air and missile defense - from mobile fire groups and anti-aircraft missile systems batteries to military command bodies of divisions, regiments, or brigades. Equipping the PMC 'Center' with communication backpacks, CROWS, portable and mobile command posts will reduce the time from target detection to its destruction from minutes to seconds. All components of the project integrate with each other like a constructor. For example, even if we get a new anti-aircraft missile system, the whole system will work with it,' says Taras Chmut, director of the 'Come Back Alive' Fund.

Thanks to the initiative 'Pack the sky - upgrade air defense', Ukrainian military personnel were given the opportunity to improve their readiness to defend the airspace. This project not only facilitated funding for modern equipment but also became a vivid example of how the joint efforts of business and society can bring benefits in such difficult times. The further development of such initiatives will help Ukraine strengthen its defensive positions and ensure the safety of its citizens.
