Ukraine will soon be covered by cold and snow
According to ТСН: Cyclonic precipitation and cooling are expected in Ukraine on New Year's and in the first days of January. Snowfall, wet snow, and temperatures down to -19 °C are forecasted throughout the week.
Monday, December 29:
Snow and wet snow will come, at times blizzard. Northwest wind at a speed of 9–14 m/s, with gusts up to 22 m/s. Temperature: at night -3...-8 °C, during the day -4...+1 °C.
Tuesday, December 30:
Snow across all of Ukraine, icy conditions on the roads. Wind from the west/northwest, 7–12 m/s. Temperature: at night -3...-8 °C, in the Carpathians -10...-14 °C; during the day -1...-6 °C.
Wednesday, December 31:
Light snow, rain possible in Crimea. Western wind, 7–12 m/s. Temperature: at night -7...-12 °C, in the Carpathians up to -16 °C; during the day -4...-10 °C, in the south and Crimea -3...+2 °C.
Thursday, January 1:
Light snow in the western and northern regions, no significant precipitation in the southeast. Western/southwest wind, 5–10 m/s. Temperature: at night -8...-13 °C, in the Carpathians and Precarpathia -14...-19 °C; during the day -4...-9 °C, in the south -4...+1 °C.
Friday, January 2:

Moderate precipitation in the Left Bank, snow and wet snow, rain possible in the south. In the west - light snow. Western wind, 7–12 m/s. Temperature: -4...-9 °C, in the south and southeast -4...+1 °C.

The expected cooling and snow are unlikely to surprise Ukrainians, as winter weather usually brings with it cold and precipitation. Nevertheless, drivers and pedestrians must be careful due to possible icy conditions on the roads. The government urges the public to follow safety rules, especially while moving around the city in winter conditions.
