According to TSN.ua: Ukraine’s heating season may come to an abrupt halt on March 28 after state-owned Naftogaz announced it would stop supplying gas to municipal heating companies. The move stems from mounting debts these enterprises have failed to settle.

“Today, Naftogaz took the necessary step of sending letters to all heating utilities, declaring that as of March 28, it will discontinue gas deliveries because they are not paying off their debts.”
