According to TSN.ua: An outbreak of intestinal infection has been reported among children in Mykolaiv after they visited the Happy Land entertainment center. As of March 20, 2023, 11 cases have been confirmed. The initial count stood at 4 cases, but by the evening of March 18, seven children had sought medical help, two of whom were hospitalized. The affected children consumed food items such as chicken nuggets, pizza, and burgers.

The Mykolaiv District Prosecutor’s Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into the poisoning. Health and law enforcement authorities are monitoring the situation closely, working to determine the cause and prevent future incidents. This incident highlights the critical need for strict food safety oversight in public catering establishments, especially those serving children.

“We have already registered 11 cases of intestinal infection,” said Olena Rudenko.
