According to TSN.ua: Starting March 1, 2026, Ukraine will implement revised pension amounts for combat veterans and individuals with disabilities caused by the war. These changes are part of ongoing efforts to adjust social benefits amid the country's prolonged conflict.

New Monthly Pension Amounts

Under the updated regulations, monthly pensions for those with a war-related Group I disability will reach 18,885 UAH. For Group II, the pension will be set at 15,494 UAH, while Group III recipients will receive 10,625 UAH. Additionally, combat participants and survivors of the Revolution of Dignity will be entitled to a pension of 6,197 UAH.

  • Group I: 18,885 UAH
  • Group II: 15,494 UAH
  • Group III: 10,625 UAH
  • Combat participants: 6,197 UAH

These adjustments are formalized in Resolution No. 236, which falls under paragraph 1 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine's Resolution No. 656 dated July 28, 2010. Through these measures, the government continues to support veterans and war-affected individuals by ensuring their financial stability.

The planned pension changes reflect the Ukrainian government's commitment to social support for veterans and people with war-related disabilities. A key goal is not only to provide financial assistance but also to recognize their contributions to national defense. In this context, social payments serve as a vital tool for securing a decent standard of living for this population, especially amid the ongoing challenges posed by the war in Ukraine.
