In Ukraine, payments of 6500 UAH have started: who can receive assistance.
According to ТСН: The first payments of 6500 UAH for vulnerable groups of the population have begun in Ukraine.
As reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, some banks have already started making these payments. A total of 323,443 individuals have applied for assistance. The aid can be arranged through "Dii" or at Pension Fund offices until December 17.
Who is eligible for assistance
Svyrydenko pointed out that the program is aimed at individuals who require the most support:
children under guardianship or care;
children with disabilities raised in family-type children's homes and foster families;
children of internally displaced persons receiving housing benefits;
children from low-income families;
persons with first group disabilities among internally displaced persons; single pensioners with a care allowance.
Those who receive 6500 UAH will be able to spend this money on medicines, clothing, and footwear within six months after receiving the funds.
It is worth noting that on November 15, the presidential assistance program launched in Ukraine, which provides a one-time payment of 1000 UAH for all citizens officially residing in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Svyrydenko also reported how many Ukrainians have already received the 'Thousand of Zelensky' at the beginning of December and what this money is being spent on.
These payments are an important step in supporting the most vulnerable segments of the population in Ukraine, especially in the context of economic instability. According to forecasts, the assistance program should ease the financial burden on families that find themselves in difficult life circumstances and promote the social protection of the most vulnerable citizens.
