According to ТСН: The police have identified four young people who attacked members of the ensemble "Hutsulshchyna" at a gas station in Sheptytsky. Among the hooligans, two are 21 years old, and the others are 17 and 18 years old.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that three of them have already been charged with hooliganism committed by a group of individuals, while one of the suspects is evading investigation. The notification of suspicion was handed to his father.

The court has already chosen a preventive measure for one of the suspects in the form of round-the-clock house arrest. A similar petition has been submitted regarding the other participants in the case.

Also, in connection with possible accusations of inaction by police officers who arrived at the scene, an investigation has been launched under the leadership of the Main Inspection.

“I expect reports from the National Police leadership regarding the conclusions of the internal investigation, which will serve as a basis for further decisions,” the minister reported.
“The actions of these young men constitute an attack on people. This is a crime. Such actions have no justifications either by age or by circumstances. Anyone who chooses the path of violence will face justice,” Klymenko assured.

Let us remind you that on the night of December 7, three local residents attacked artists from the National Ensemble of Song and Dance "Hutsulshchyna" and their driver.

According to information from the Lviv region prosecutor's office, the ensemble was returning from a concert tour abroad to Ivano-Frankivsk and stopped at a gas station. When part of the passengers left the bus and went to the store, three strangers occupied their seats and refused to leave.

They left the cabin only after the conductor returned from the store and requested them a second time. One of the young individuals punched the driver of the minibus in the face.

Despite the efforts of the ensemble members to avoid conflict, the fight continued both inside the gas station and outside.

As a result of the incident, the driver of the minibus sustained a traumatic brain injury and a concussion, while one of the artists suffered a fracture of a hand bone. The conductor and another artist were injured on their faces.

Artistic director Vasyl Sheremeta noted that the law enforcement officers who arrived at the site of the conflict communicated calmly with the attackers, not reacting to their aggressive behavior and profanity.

This incident has sparked wide public resonance, raising questions about the safety of cultural workers and youth as a whole. In further investigations, law enforcement agencies plan to analyze the actions of the police who arrived at the scene to prevent similar situations in the future.

It should be noted that attacks on representatives of the arts are becoming increasingly common, so it is important for society and authorities to work together to ensure safety for all citizens.
