Ombudsman Lubyinets: TCCs restrict rights and use force against Ukrainians.
According to ТСН: In the premises of TCCs and SPs, not only are the rights of Ukrainians restricted, but also criminal offenses take place.
Words of the Commissioner
This information was announced by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubyinets in an interview with 'Radio Svoboda'.
He noted that the number of appeals to the ombudsman regarding violations by TCC employees increases every year.
Dmytro Lubyinets emphasized that not all complaints are confirmed, however, the statistics indicate a significant increase in violations of citizens' rights.
‘Without any legal grounds, TCC employees restrict the freedom of citizens of Ukraine, take personal belongings, and use force. This force leads to very negative consequences, when citizens of Ukraine end up in hospitals, and sometimes even die,’ he said.
The Ombudsman also highlighted the negative impact of violations by TCC employees during forced mobilization.
‘We will never be able to defeat Russia if citizens of Ukraine fear TCC and SP representatives more than Russian missiles,’ he added.
Motives for Service
According to Dmytro Lubyinets, increasing salaries for the military and clear terms of service should become a motivation for people to join the army.
Recall that earlier, a representative of the OK 'West' explained which factors contribute to the crisis of trust and aggression towards TCC employees.
The problems voiced by the ombudsman indicate the need for urgent reforms in the conscription system and interaction with the population. The increase in complaints indicates a significant level of tension and dissatisfaction among Ukrainians, requiring greater attention from the state.Read also
