The President awarded Vasyl Zinkevych the Order of Yaroslav the Wise on his 80th birthday.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky honored the people's artist of Ukraine Vasyl Zinkevych with the Order of Yaroslav the Wise of the III degree. This is stated in decree No. 266/2025.

The award ceremony took place for 'significant personal contributions to the development of national song art, high performing skills, and long-term fruitful creative activity'.

On May 1, the People's Artist, Hero of Ukraine, frontman of VIA 'Smerichka' and 'Svitiaz' Vasyl Zinkevych celebrates his 80th birthday.

There are many interesting moments in Vasyl Zinkevych's life. He has always avoided media attention and has a limited circle of friends. However, some information about him became known to 'Glavkom'. Vasyl Zinkevych has always been friendly, but he did not give interviews that were offered to him.
