The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine demonstrates what is happening at the border between Ukraine and Belarus.
According to the SBGS, Alexander Lukashenko is gathering Belarusian troops near the border with Ukraine under the cover of exercises. In response, Ukrainian border guards are strengthening their defense in the Chernihiv region.
In the video, the border guards showed how they protect the border and monitor activity from the side of Belarus, both on land, in the air, and in the water.
The diplomatic service of Ukraine expressed concern about hostile actions from Belarus.
According to Ukrainian intelligence services, the Belarusian armed forces are concentrating a large number of troops, including Special Operations Forces, weapons, and military equipment in the Gomel region near the northern borders of Ukraine under the cover of exercises.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko hypocritically congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day.
It is worth noting that Lukashenko demanded to strengthen the military presence of Belarus in the Gomel and Mozyr directions, adjacent to the northern regions of Ukraine. On August 11, the Ministry of Defense of Belarus stated that their tanks were seen near the border with Ukraine. The Center for Countering Disinformation explained why the Belarusian dictator is taking such actions.
