According to the response, the prosecutor decided not to take legal action due to the raising of the red-black flag during the event. No specific explanation for this step is provided.
Deputy Matecki called this decision 'an incredible scandal' and spoke about his further actions. It is also known that the President of Poland did not remain indifferent and expressed his opinion on the matter.
The President of Poland Commented on the Situation
President of Poland Karol Nawrocki characterized the situation as 'scandalous' and 'absolutely unacceptable'. He hopes that the Sejm will support the bill that will prohibit the use of UPA symbolism and impose severe penalties for violating this law.
Polish law enforcement took action against participants in the riots that occurred during the concert: 63 individuals, of which 57 are citizens of Ukraine, will be deported from the country. Prime Minister Donald Tusk noted that the situation has already been resolved and the deportation process has begun.
The events started at Max Korzh's concert where the UPA flag was raised, causing outrage and aggressive actions at the National Stadium. The authorities quickly responded to these incidents, confirming their readiness to uphold the country's legislation.
