Guarding Ukraine's Skies

According to TSN.ua: Sergei Beskrestnov, a radio technology expert and advisor to Ukraine’s defense minister, has rejected misinformation alleging that Ukrainian interceptor drones were transferred to other nations. He made clear that protecting Ukraine’s airspace remains the top priority. According to Beskrestnov, no interceptor drone has been removed from active duty, and all such drones continue to operate from their positions within Ukraine.

Beskrestnov emphasized that both military and political leadership are fully committed to defending Ukrainian skies. He stressed that collaboration with international partners never comes at the expense of weakening Ukraine’s own defenses.

'This is all utter nonsense,' Beskrestnov said, dismissing rumors that the drones had been sent to the Middle East. Sergei Beskrestnov

The priority—Ukraine’s airspace—remains unchanged, and the country continues to strengthen its defensive capabilities. Interaction with partners is conducted without compromising the front lines, underscoring the leadership’s resolve to protect national territory.

Efforts to Bolster Defenses

This statement is part of Ukraine’s broader push to enhance its defensive posture amid ongoing external threats. Countering disinformation is a crucial step in maintaining morale among both civilians and troops, as a clear understanding of the situation helps sustain trust in state institutions and the defense system.

At the same time, it highlights the importance of international cooperation that does not interfere with safeguarding Ukraine’s national interests.
