According to ТСН: On Tuesday, Russian occupiers struck civilian infrastructure, hitting commercial vessels flying foreign flags.

This information was confirmed by the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Details of the attack

Two vessels were hit by the enemy: Emmakris III and Captain Karam. The military specified that the bulk carrier Captain Karam was entering the port to load wheat during the attack.

As a result of the strike by UAVs, there are wounded among civilians.

Threat to the world

The Navy emphasized that ports and commercial vessels are exclusively civilian objects, and strikes against them are considered a deliberate war crime.

“Attacks on them create a threat to the lives of peaceful citizens and undermine global food security,” the Ukrainian military stated.

We remind you that the Russian side spreads disinformation about the alleged complete capture of strategically important cities in Eastern Ukraine. Political scientist and major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Andrii Tkachuk refuted the enemy's propaganda claims, explaining that the real picture of the hostilities significantly differs from Moscow's reports.

This situation further emphasizes the seriousness of the threats faced by civilian infrastructure during the conflict. Strikes on commercial vessels not only endanger lives but also negatively impact food security worldwide. Monitoring the developments in the region and the response of the international community to these aggressive actions remains critically important.
