Widespread Strikes Across the Dnipropetrovsk Region

According to TSN.ua: On February 3, 2023, Russian forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, triggering multiple fires and causing significant damage to infrastructure. In the city of Dnipro, an infrastructure facility was set ablaze and damaged, along with two private homes, a three-story residential building, and a dormitory.

The situation in the Slobozhanska community remained tense, with a car set on fire and one home suffering serious damage. Fires also broke out in the Rozdorska and Raivska communities, as well as in Synelnykove, damaging infrastructure, a private business, a garage, and a vehicle.

Nikopol District Targeted in Separate Attacks

In the Nikopol district, Russian troops struck the communities of Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivska, Pokrovska, and Marhanets. The shelling damaged four private houses and three outbuildings.

This assault follows a pattern of recent attacks on the area. Just two days prior, on February 1, Russian drone strikes on Dnipro killed two people. That same night, shelling caused a fire that destroyed one private house and damaged two others. Later that evening, a Russian strike on the Pavlohrad district resulted in 15 fatalities and 7 injuries.

Commenting on the aftermath of the latest attacks, Oleksandr Ganzha noted: 'Fortunately, no one was injured.'

These events underscore the persistent threat to civilians in Ukraine as the conflict continues. Attacks on infrastructure and residential areas inflict not only material losses but also impose severe psychological pressure on residents living in the war zone. Assessing the humanitarian situation and providing support for affected communities remains critically important.
