Attack on the Kyiv region
During the night, Ukrainian regions were shelled, with almost all districts of the Kyiv region under attack. Fires broke out in residential buildings and outbuildings in Brovary, Obukhiv, and Boryspil districts. As of the morning, all fires have been extinguished.
In particular, emergency workers managed to rescue four people from Brovary: a father, a mother, a grandmother, and a five-year-old child who were trapped under the rubble as a result of the shelling. All of them received medical assistance and are currently in the hospital.
It is worth noting that in the evening and at night, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv. The occupiers used ballistic missiles, Kalibrs, and numerous drones. Cruise missiles were launched in two waves, indicating an attempt to overload the air defense system.
In the Darnyts'kyi district, a drone hit rescuers. As a result of the shelling, four people were killed. One medic died, and another four were injured while providing assistance to the victims in this area of the city.
This attack is a continuation of Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine, aimed at destabilizing the situation in the region. Damage to infrastructure and human losses further complicate the lives of civilians who continue to suffer the consequences of the war. Authorities and rescue services continue to work to ensure the safety of residents and mitigate the consequences of the shelling.
