Threat from Russian Unmanned Aircraft

According to TSN.ua: The Ukrainian military warns that Russian forces are now equipping drones with toxic substances, creating a serious hazard for civilians. Tamara Koval, a servicewoman with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, urges citizens to exercise extreme caution if they encounter any drone, stressing that any unmanned aircraft of unclear origin should not be touched. This tactic represents a dangerous escalation in the conflict's methods.

Railway Infrastructure Targeted in Attack

On February 5, Russian troops struck railway infrastructure in the Sumy region, damaging tracks, technical buildings, structures, a locomotive, and a heating point for personnel. One station attendant required medical assistance as a result of the shelling.

“For your own safety, do not make contact with enemy drones, even if they have not detonated and remain intact.”

Tamara Koval

These warnings are especially pertinent given the increasing threat of toxic agents being deployed in attacks across Ukraine. The use of chemical substances in warfare is a grave violation of international norms.

The growing danger from the use of poisonous substances in the conflict underscores the critical need for civilian safety protocols. All parties in the conflict zone must remain vigilant to the potential hazards arising from new military technologies. It is vital that citizens stay informed with current updates and adhere strictly to official safety guidelines to avoid perilous situations.
