Russia struck Odesa: schools and kindergartens left without heat and light (updated).

Russians carried out a devastating strike on Odesa
On the night of February 19, Russians attacked the city of Odesa, interrupting heating and electricity supply in many schools, kindergartens, and residential buildings. The Mayor of Odesa, Gennady Trukhanov, reported on the consequences of this attack. Specialists are already assessing the situation and determining how long it will take to eliminate the harmful effects.
The children's clinic and kindergarten also sustained serious damage. Local authorities plan to set up tents for people who have been left homeless. Utility services will deal with the recovery following the attack. Currently, schools that have been disconnected from heating and electricity will not accept children. However, heating points and assistance points will be operational.
Odesa has also experienced problems with electricity after explosions and a massive drone attack. In Sumy, a missile landed near civilian objects, but no casualties were reported. Explosions also occurred in Kyiv and the region, with air defense forces engaged.
