Attack on Kamyshuvakha and the Regional Situation
According to TSN.ua: On February 2, Russian forces struck the town of Kamyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region, wounding two children, aged 9 and 15. The attack destroyed a residential building and damaged neighboring structures. This incident is part of a wider pattern of shelling in the region. Across Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a total of 808 strikes have been recorded against 39 settlements, resulting in injuries to four other people.
Strikes in Kryvyi Rih
Separately, the enemy also launched an attack on Kryvyi Rih, which triggered several fires. 'An industrial facility in the city was damaged. Several fires broke out there. Preliminarily, there were no civilian casualties,' reported Oleksandr Ganzha. According to Ivan Fedorov, 'two girls were wounded.' The situation in the region remains tense as attacks continue, underscoring the persistent threat to civilian areas far from the front lines.
These events highlight the continuation of intense hostilities in southern and eastern Ukraine, where the civilian population continues to suffer significant losses. The targeting of residential districts and infrastructure emphasizes the severity of the humanitarian situation in the region, where people face the daily consequences of the war.
