Russia launched a nighttime drone attack: three key directions and complex trajectories

According to ТСН: On the night of December 6, 2025, Russia launched a new massive attack using strike drones.

This was reported by the PС of Ukraine. Enemy UAVs are moving along complex trajectories, covering central, eastern, and northern regions of the country.

Key attack directions

The initial movement of the strike drone groups was recorded in the west and south of the Sumy region. From there, the drones split up, attempting to strike in three key directions simultaneously:

  • Chernigiv region

  • Poltava region

  • Kharkiv region

This tactic is aimed at dispersing the attention of air defense and striking the infrastructure of several regions at once.

Some drones are heading towards Cherkasy and Kyiv regions, while another group is moving through Poltava region in the direction of Reshetylivka, Velyka Bahachka, Bilyky, and Pavlysh.

The UAVs are also targeting Chernigiv, with movement observed towards the settlements of Slavutych, Ripky, Varva, and Ladan.

Moreover, drone movements have been noted in Sumy region towards Sumy and the settlement of Kyrykivka.

In Kharkiv region, they are moving towards the settlements of Zolochiv, Valky.

It should be noted that the losses of Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine continue to rise sharply. As of December 5, they reached 1,178,610 personnel. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated 1,240 invaders.

This new attack indicates an escalation of the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The use of drones in such numbers suggests the enemy's intentions to utilize all available technology to achieve their goals. Ukrainian defense forces continue to actively respond to threats, underscoring the need for support from international partners in this critical situation.
