Why Santa Dimopulos' Teenage Son Turned Down Studying Abroad: Insights on Her Child with Andriy Dzhedzhula.
Santa Dimopulos Opens Up About Her Son Daniel
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian singer Santa Dimopulos has shared new details about her 17-year-old son Daniel, whom she had with showman Andriy Dzhedzhula. In her comments, Santa revealed that Daniel declined the opportunity to study overseas—something she had hoped he would pursue.
“I really wanted him to study abroad,” Santa Dimopulos said.
Now finishing high school this year, Daniel plans to continue his education in Ukraine instead. Over the summer break, Santa sent him to a camp in Switzerland, but he stayed only five days before returning. The teenager currently lives in Kyiv with his father, Andriy Dzhedzhula. Expressing her emotions, Santa added:
“He’s almost 18 now, he lives in Kyiv, and I miss him terribly,” Santa Dimopulos shared.
Daniel’s choice to remain in Ukraine for his studies may reflect a broader trend among young people prioritizing family bonds and cultural roots amid today’s social and economic challenges. While many teens opt for international education, Daniel appears to value staying close to loved ones—a decision that highlights his personal priorities as he approaches adulthood.
