According to TSN.ua: A large-scale altercation broke out in the village of Sosonka, Vinnytsia Region, between local residents and personnel from the Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TRC). Approximately 20 police officers were dispatched to the scene to manage the unrest. The conflict erupted around 6:30 PM when nearly 80 people had gathered, and it subsided around 9:00 PM.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident was sparked by actions of TRC staff. Mykola Demchenko reported that
“people said TRC workers used pepper spray on two women”. This provoked outrage among the crowd, escalating the situation. In the aftermath, law enforcement detained the TRC personnel and impounded their vehicle.
The TRC claimed that civilians attacked servicemen while they were performing their duties. Mykola Demchenko also noted that
“it ended with police arresting the TRC guys and taking them away in their cars”.
