Local residents cited by SHOT report at least five explosions in the central and northern parts of Taganrog. Eyewitnesses noted seeing flashes in the sky and hearing rumbling. An air raid siren was activated in the city.

Loud sounds were also heard by residents of the village of Chaltir and the city of Azov, located about 10 kilometers from Rostov. Russian sources claim that the Air Defense allegedly 'destroys aerial targets.'

It should be noted that naval drones of the SBU struck two sanctioned oil tankers of the 'shadow fleet' of the Russian Federation — KAIRO and VIRAT in the Black Sea.
