Situation with poisoning

The entire family of three sought help at the emergency department. Doctors suspected food poisoning, but did not consider the patients' condition serious enough for hospitalization, so they were sent home.

Twice visiting doctors

The mother and daughter visited the emergency department twice, but each time they were sent home with a diagnosis of ordinary gastroenteritis. When they returned for the third time due to severe, unbearable pain, it was already too late.

On Saturday afternoon, the condition of the 15-year-old girl deteriorated sharply, and she was urgently hospitalized in the intensive care unit, where she died in the evening. On Sunday morning, a few hours later, her 50-year-old mother also died in the same hospital. Her 55-year-old father remains hospitalized in serious condition. According to the newspaper, up to 15 people were present at the festive dinner, but none reported any symptoms.

This case once again underscores the seriousness of the problem of food poisoning and the importance of timely medical assistance. Unfortunately, in this situation, the delay in treatment led to tragic consequences. Society and medical institutions need to pay more attention to such cases to avoid the recurrence of similar tragedies in the future.
