Son of Kostiantyn Hrubych on life after injury: Salary comes, but I am in the hospital.
According to ТСН: The son of the famous TV presenter Kostiantyn Hrubych, who recently lost his right limb during his service at the front, shared the details of his rehabilitation.
Rehabilitation and future plans
Yaroslav Hrubych actively inspires many during these difficult times. In a conversation with Alina Dorotiuk, he admitted that he is not currently considering applying for disability, although he does not rule out this option in the future.
"I haven't thought about it seriously yet, honestly. But if it becomes interesting to me — then yes. I'll apply for it, and let it be. Why not? There is disability, after all. Most likely, I will do it," said the presenter’s son.
Service and helping comrades
Yaroslav noted that he has not resigned from service and continues to receive a salary from his military unit. He actively tries to help his comrades, particularly in the informational field, since he cannot currently use a weapon.
"I haven't left the army; I'm with my unit — right now I am on long-term medical leave. The commander jokes that maybe when I get a prosthesis, the war will end. But I see that I can be useful and do my job. Maybe in a different perspective, but with a camera, interviews, recruiting, donations... I receive a salary and try to help as I can now with one hand — contact, edit video, or something else. Because the salary comes, but I am in the hospital. As one logistician told me: 'What are you doing walking around on televisions, but you don’t want to make us a video to show us?'", said smiling Yaroslav.
Yaroslav Hrubych also shared thoughts about his personal life and having a girlfriend.
It is important to note that Yaroslav not only fights the consequences of his injury but also finds ways to help his comrades and remain active in the military community. His positive attitude and dedication to service are a bright example for many during this challenging time.
