According to inkorr.com: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi attended a meeting chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky. Issues regarding the frontline situation, security at the border with Russia and Belarus, formation of reserves, as well as cooperation with international partners on security guarantees for Ukraine were discussed. Security and military activities
Syrskyi reported to the president on the implementation of the decisions of the Stavka regarding the formation of combat-ready reserves for the Defense Forces.
"The Russian aggressor does not abandon its predatory plans. Standing in their way is the Ukrainian army, which relies on the entire Ukrainian people, feeling their support", he noted.
Currently, the main focus is on Pokrovsk, Dobropillia, Novopavlivka, Kupiansk, as well as the Zaporizhzhia directions. During the meeting, the needs for additional resources for units in these and other important sections of the front were also discussed, Syrskyi emphasized.
Positive trends on the front
The Commander-in-Chief noted:
"We have positive trends in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions — here the decisive factor is the active actions of the 225th assault regiment, the 71st Jaeger brigade, and the Special Operations Forces units. Their combat work is an example of courage and professionalism. We continue to work shoulder to shoulder to provide the army with everything necessary to defend Ukraine's independence".
We remind that over the past day, aviation, rocket troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck five areas where enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment are concentrated, and also destroyed two enemy artillery systems.
It is the 1280th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
The participation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in the meeting with the president emphasized the importance of discussing the frontline situation and the army's actions to ensure national security in the context of Russian aggression. Optimistic assessments indicate the readiness of the Ukrainian military to fight for the country's independence and continue to push back Russian attacks.
