98% of summonses were received by citizens who do not pay taxes and are not registered anywhere as employed
This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, according to «Interfax».
As of today, 98% of the summonses sent, which are consciously formed through the «Obereg» register, are sent to people who do not pay a single hryvnia in taxes and are not registered anywhere as people who work. In fact, the priority for mobilization today is given to people who are unemployed», - explained the head of the government.
According to him, only 2% of the summonses in the last two months were sent to employed people.
The head of the government added that today the registers allow tracking whether a person pays taxes, regardless of whether they are an employee, entrepreneur, or self-employed.
If a person does not pay taxes, it means they are not officially employed. Accordingly, it is visible in the registers, «Obereg» pulls up this information, and when summonses are formed, we can see that a person is unemployed, and these people are a priority for mobilization. A very simple principle, I think it is absolutely clear to everyone», - added Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that it is critically necessary for the state to pay money to the military.
You know that mobilization is ongoing. The number of mobilized people was announced as 250,000 - this is in addition to the number of Armed Forces with which we have passed these 2.5 years. It is necessary to pay salaries to these people and provide accordingly», - he emphasized.
Let us recall, «Ukrposhta» is already engaged in delivering 20,000 summonses from territorial recruitment and social support centers for citizens liable for military service.
