Massive fire in Hong Kong

According to ТСН: A serious fire broke out in several high-rise buildings in Hong Kong, resulting in at least 14 deaths and 16 injuries. There is a possibility that people remain trapped inside the burning buildings.

Several locals reported that the fire has been raging for several hours and shows no signs of abating.

Most of the residents of the burning buildings are elderly people aged 65 and above. The fire has engulfed seven of the eight buildings in the Wan Fook Court housing complex.

The Hong Kong Transport Department has reported that a section of Tai Po Road, one of the city's main highways, has been closed due to the fire, and bus routes are being redirected.

The fire has been rated at the highest, fifth level of danger.

Wan Fook Court is one of the housing complexes in Hong Kong, located in one of the world's most densely populated areas - Tai Po, where approximately 300,000 people live.

It is worth noting that in China, a three-story pavilion in the sacred temple complex of Wenchang was completely burned down. The fire was caused by improper use of incense and candles by one of the tourists.

The fire in Hong Kong has had significant repercussions for local residents and infrastructure. Authorities continue to respond promptly to the situation, and rescue services are working to save any potential victims and extinguish the fire. Public life in Tai Po will feel the effects of this tragedy for an uncertain period until the situation stabilizes.
