According to ТСН: The company DTEK illuminated the Motherland monument in the colors of the Ukrainian flag as part of the 'Light Holds' campaign.

The company's message states:

'Yes, the light holds! On the eve of the longest night of the year, the Motherland reminds us of this from the hills of eternal Kyiv. And tomorrow is Energy Worker’s Day. Don’t forget to congratulate relatives, friends, and loved ones who are part of this profession.'

It is also noted that the light projection does not use electricity from the energy system.

Moreover, on one of the destroyed thermal power plants, a Christmas composition 'Shchedryk' was previously performed by a choir and orchestra.
