According to TSN.ua: A tragic event occurred in Rivne on March 31, when an 84-year-old woman fell from a second-floor window while washing the glass. The incident happened around 11 a.m. inside her own apartment. After the fall, she remained conscious and was able to speak, telling those nearby that she had suddenly felt unwell.
Neighbors who witnessed the fall immediately called for medical help. Despite the assistance provided, the woman died a few hours later. A neighbor named Maria described the victim as having been very active:
“She was so fast and lively.”She also noted that other residents were deeply shaken, as no one expected such a sudden turn of events: “The neighbors feel the same way.”
Public Concerns Grow
This case adds to a series of similar tragedies, including an incident on March 5 in Kyiv, where a local resident also fell from a high-rise window. Both events have raised concerns about the safety of elderly individuals in their own homes.
