According to TSN.ua: A 70-year-old woman died in a tubing accident in Kharkiv on January 18. Police received a report around 2:00 PM that day regarding the discovery of a woman's body in the Nemyshlyanskyi district. Officers arriving at the scene found the woman's body in the snow, with a recreational snow tube located nearby.
Preliminary findings indicate the woman sustained fatal injuries while engaging in the winter activity. Tubing, which involves sliding down slopes on an inflatable ring, is popular but carries inherent risks. Police have registered the case in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, classifying it as an 'accident'. Authorities confirmed the victim was 70 years old.
