According to TSN.ua: A 47-year-old man assaulted his 75-year-old neighbor in the courtyard of a building in the Bereznyaky district of Kyiv, pushing her onto the asphalt and causing grave injuries. The victim suffered a closed craniocerebral trauma, a brain contusion, a fracture of the base of the skull on the right side, and soft tissue damage to the head. She is currently hospitalized.
Suspect's Background and Legal Status
The attacker, who was heavily intoxicated at the time of the crime, has a prior criminal record, including a conviction for theft and a history of being charged with domestic violence. He has been notified of suspicion of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm that was life-threatening at the time of the incident.
