Farewell to Kyrylo Rudenko

According to TSN.ua: In Kyiv, farewell was said to young Ukrainian warrior Kyrylo Rudenko, call sign “Kozir”, who died on December 11, 2025, while carrying out a combat mission. Kyrylo was only 20 years old, but his short life became a symbol of courage and self-sacrifice for many.

Life and Service

Kyrylo Rudenko was born in Kyiv and grew up in Pozniaky. He returned to Ukraine two weeks before his 18th birthday, feeling the call to serve. At 19, he voluntarily joined the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade, reconnaissance battalion Hatred. His death became a great blow to his comrades who had the chance to know him as a brave and devoted defender.

Kyrylo's family expressed their feelings, stating:

“For the state, he is a Defender and a Hero. For us, he is our brave boy, a son who was loved and will always be loved.”

This reflects the deep pain of loss felt by relatives and loved ones, as well as the important role Kyrylo played in the lives of those around him.

The death of Kyrylo Rudenko is yet another sad reminder of the price that the young generation of Ukrainians pays in the war for the independence of their country.
