According to ТСН: Today, urgent electricity shutdowns were implemented in Kyiv due to a combined attack.
This was reported by Ukrenergo.
"Hourly schedules do not apply during emergency disconnects,"— the statement reads.
The correspondent noted that the left bank of the capital has lost electrical and thermal supply.
DTEK clarified:
“Emergency shutdowns have been applied in the left bank of Kyiv. If there are any changes, we will promptly inform you on our Telegram channel.”
Impact on public transport and infrastructure
Earlier, it was reported that following the Russian attack, the movement of public transportation in Kyiv has been reorganized, with part of the routes not operational.
In addition, it has been reported that fires have broken out in at least four areas, affecting 24-story and 18-story residential buildings.
The number of people injured from the Russian shelling in the city has risen to five, reported mayor Vitali Klitschko.
The situation in the capital remains complicated due to hostilities. Local residents are urged to be cautious and follow official announcements to stay safe. Authorities continue to coordinate efforts to restore electrical supply and maintain order in the city.
