Emergency power outages in 5 regions: the cause named the consequences of attacks.

According to ТСН: This evening, emergency power outages have been implemented in several regions of Ukraine.

The reasons for these measures are connected to the consequences of recent massive missile and drone attacks.

Details of outages

Previous outage schedules in the regions affected by emergency measures are currently not in effect. "Ukrenergo" does not specify which regions are affected. However, local energy companies report that emergency outages have been announced in:

• Kharkiv region,
• Poltava region,
• Sumy region,
• Dnipropetrovsk region.

Moreover, emergency outages have been implemented for industry in the Zaporizhia region.

Situation in the energy system

Emergency outages will only be lifted after the situation in the energy system stabilizes. After this, new schedules for planned outages will be available on the websites of local energy companies and DTEK. Schedules are also published by the press services of territorial communities and heads of regional administrations on social networks.

Citizens are asked to use electricity sparingly when power is available according to the schedule.
