According to ТСН: In Kyiv, at school №115, a student detonated an airsoft grenade. The explosion occurred under the stairs leading to the basement, but preliminary reports indicate that there are no injuries.

Explosive experts and an investigative group from the Solomyanskyi district police arrived at the scene.

“It has been established that the grenade was thrown by a high school student, who did this for fun and to create a video. Juvenile police are currently communicating with him and his parents,” the Kyiv police reported.

The boy is only 15 years old. Police are figuring out where he got the grenade, how he brought it to school, and why he detonated it.

“Now the boy is giving explanations at the police department along with his parents. We are clarifying all the details,” the police noted.

This incident comes amid a recent explosion that occurred in Dnipro, raising even more concern. There, a man detonated a grenade in a multi-story building.

“On December 9, around 4:40 a.m., a man threw a grenade on the 9th floor of a multi-story building in the Pokrovskyi residential area. As a result of the explosion, the walls and doors were damaged, but fortunately, no one was injured,” the report states.

These incidents highlight serious problems with safety and access control to dangerous items, especially among teenagers. The police continue to work on the investigation and urge parents to pay attention to their children's actions and their surroundings.
