Odesa Strike Claims One Life, Leaves 11 Injured Including a Child.
Odesa Under Attack
According to TSN.ua: A Russian aerial assault on the city of Odesa has resulted in one fatality and more than ten casualties. According to reports, one individual died in the hospital, while a total of 11 people sustained injuries, among them a child. All wounded are receiving necessary medical care, stated Serhiy Lysak.
City in Crisis
The situation in the city remains tense. A strike hit the roof of a maternity hospital building. Significant damage to residential properties has been recorded in the Prymorskyi district, including:
- collapsed balconies;
- shattered windows;
- fires breaking out on the upper floors of high-rise buildings.
In the Khadzhibey district, fires erupted in apartments and on the roof of a five-story building, while in the Kyivskyi district, non-residential structures were damaged and windows were blown out in residential homes. Over ten vehicles were also damaged in the attack.
This strike is part of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, which continues to cause civilian casualties and extensive material damage. Such incidents highlight the persistent danger faced by peaceful residents in combat zones, as well as the urgent need for international support to ensure safety and rebuild infrastructure.
